Hello! I'm Adeera Laini Harris and I was born and raised in the vibrant south suburbs of Chicago. Being so close to the city, I immersed myself in the Chicago theater scene, where acting became my first love. I ignited my passion for performing arts and worked with many creatives in the area. Currently, I'm a senior at Syracuse University, pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater. Here, I’ve been diving deep into the worlds of acting, singing, and dancing. My time performing in Chicago and within the Syracuse Drama Department has provided me with a strong foundation in performance and character building. As graduation approaches, I’m eagerly anticipating the new chapter awaiting me in New York City come Spring 2025. As an African American and Jamaican woman, I cherish the power of storytelling and am thrilled about the exciting possibilities ahead.
