Heyy! I'm Adeera Laini Harris and I was born and raised in Hazel Crest, IL, a neighborhood in the south suburbs of Chicago. Being so close to the city, I immersed myself in the Chicago theater scene, where acting became my first love. Currently, I am finishing up my senior year as a BFA Musical Theatre major, and am partaking in the Tepper Semester here in New York City! As a half-Jamaican and African-American woman, I deeply value the power of authentic storytelling and bringing my exuberant passion where ever I go.
